The project was started with household survey to minimize the risks of missing any of target age group. Through household survey, target groups were identified and are being catered for educational interventions. |
For this purpose, Focused Group Discussions (FGDs) were held with community for capital social mapping since it was ITA’s first experience to work directly with community and schools in Musa kheil. ITA has setup an office in the center of Rarashum village which is situated in Union Council of Kingri in Musa Kheil District Balochistan. With the help of its local team, ITA is putting its best efforts to bring positive change in educational scenario of Musa kheil that demands more and more efforts to promote girls education at different levels. |
ITA believes in engaging communities to the maximum to develop ownership among them to take the interventions forward even after the project period is ended. |
Particularly in the context of Baluchistan, there is greater realization to involve “Community Organizations (COs)” for the sustainability of the above mentioned interventions |
This is project’s first success in Musa kheil that the distinguished members of COs (Community Organization) and LSOs (Local Support Organization) have offered their housed for “Sanjah Vehra” however a formal agreement will be made between ITA and community members (House Owners) for a certain period ( 3 years) to avoid any kind of discrepancy at any stage of project implementation |
